As with most trading platforms, the price of an instrument changes as you increase the size of your order. Typically, price depth is determined by bands based on volume.
Unlike some platforms that quote prices in the highest or lowest bands, we show you the average price at which you will open a position, based on the volume or quantity you've set. This is a volume-weighted average price (VWAP) and will allow you to make a fair assessment of the order and price at a glance.
When you enter a large order size, you are able to tap to view the price tiers and associated volume by tapping to see the order book. We highlight the largest tier your order will reach, and the average price will also appear. If you proceed, the order will be filled at the prices shown up to the size you have entered.
